MOTORING IMAGES GO ONLINE
Wednesday, 18 January 2012 00:00

The Gaydon-based Heritage Motor Centre (HMC) will be hosting Motorgraphs, a gallery-style exhibition from January 28 to February 26 showcasing samples of motoring photography from three important archives that have recently been combined and made available online at www.motorgraphs.com for purchase as high quality prints.

This impressive online gallery include images from the archives of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and two private collections, the Zagari-Sptzley archive and the Grand Prix Library. The online archive contains 3000 images covering more that 100 years of motoring history ranging from racing, rallying advertising, classic marques and social history, through to behind the scenes images of car assembly at Longbridge, Cowley, Abingdon and Solihull.

As well as featuring a selection of framed prints, the temporary gallery at HMC will incorporate a video screen displaying a wide selection of archived images and advertising material, all of which can be purchased online. There is no extra charge to see the Motorgraphs Exhibition and more details including opening times and admission charges to HMC can be found at www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk.
